Our all-inclusive Full Day Shared Reef Charter is an awesome day out on the beautiful waters of the Great Barrier Reef chasing some of our iconic reef species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Large Mouth Nannygai and Spanish Mackerel (to name a few!).
Shared charters are a great option to get out to the reef without worrying about getting a large group together. You will share this trip with people from all walks of life, from mums and dads to young kids, mad-keen fisherman and inquisitive tourists. It’s a great day out on the reef!
We are a deep sea fishing charter, and usually fish at 30-60 metres depth anywhere in a 50km radius from Cairns. Be warned, we expect you to land fish up to 10kg or bigger, so hang on!

Itinerary
- Check-in at our new Check In Hub, Shop G10, The Pier Shopping Centre, 1 Pier Point Road, Cairns.
- Our crew will greet you at the check in hub and then escort you to the vessel
- Board the vessel for a welcome aboard and safety briefing
- Depart for the Great Barrier Reef travel time to & from the reef is at least 90 minutes
- Once we find our destination, we will give a short briefing on reef fishing technique
- Lunch on the boat around midday
- Depart the reef for the trip home around 2pm
- Maybe a cold beer on the way home along with a fruit platter and grazing platter served
- Return between 3:30-4:00pm to Marlin Marina
- Optional – Have your catch cooked at one of our local restaurants. Recommend booking direct with your selected restaurant 48 hours prior in peak and holiday periods.
